1st Peter 2:1-4

I was asleep lastnight and awoke after seeing many disturbing things in my dreams. I went to the bathroom and went back to sleep as when I went back to sleep and I saw more tragedy and peril. They were visions of times when people are suffering at the hands of the great deception of the Devil and his horde of demons. They were people that were lost of soul and had fallen for the demonic ways of mankind and had rebelled openly against Gods word.

I saw the number 312 and heard Peter in my head. A still small told me to be faithful and avoid them. I had spent some time lately thinking about how mean the world had come and all the people that are so brutal and lost. On my nightly broadcast on BIGO and on my heavenlynotice.com blog site and podcast I get naysayers talking about there being no God. People attack me for being open about my Faith in God and his power in my life.

In Peter it states that “Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. ² Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, ³ now that you have tasted that the Lord is good”. We live in a world where hate, malice, fear, anger, and many other sinful activities are prevalent. Our kids are learning to speak the language of social media and videos about fighting, beating up people and hurting others as normal.

On Sunday I was at a birthday party for a teenager we know and as she was opening presents a 12 year old kid sees the gift and says “WTF” out loud like it was perfectly normal. The adults looked at each other like did that 12 year old just rip that off in front of 20 people without even considering how bad or rude it is. I am a high school teacher so nothing surprises me anymore about our generation of kids coming through the system.

I pray that we a nation can heal and get back to the older values and moral code that drove such a great nation. Our kids are being taught that people of opposite colors are by nature bad or against them. Our kids are being taught that it is ok to fight, harm others and attack people you disagree with. Our young people are being taught to cuss, fuss, fight, act out and that it is normal.’

Gods word is clear and he gave it to me. “Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind”. I hear teenagers act out in class and cuss a teacher out. Others sit and watch and laugh as if it is funny. We are raising a generation of lost souls people. It is time to turn to the peacemaker, the way maker and find God back in our lives.

Peter says we are to turn away from these things instead of turning to them. May God bless the world and its people! I pray for revival and the future of our country to be based on love, kindness, compassion and a giving heart.
