Daily writing prompt
Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

I do not tend to dwell in the past as I cannot change it, but can learn from it. I know people that are so stuck in the past about relationships, jobs, hurt, injuries and other things that they allow to limit their opportunity to live their best life. Why sit on the past when you have the future to change things and do your best. I see people that refuse to trust people, date people, work or live life because of an event that did not go so well. How can you move forward if you are stuck in the past. It is not as easy as said, but you can move on, change the outcomes of future endeavors and live a great life. You have to forgive yourself, forgive others and have faith that things will work out. As a teacher I see so many young people stuck where they are due to bad parents, drugs, alcohol, relationships, laziness, ect. I tell them they may not be able to change the current, but to never let that change their future when they walk across that stage they take over ife and have to attack it. Be fruitful, work hard and get after life. Chase your dreams because they will not chase you. Live your best life and look forward. The only time you should be looking back in life is to make sure no car is in your blind side on the road. Otherwise, get after life, get over the past and go live your best life!
