I was sitting in a music hall and listening to southern gospel music with my dad and grandfather. This is the first time I have seen my grandfather on dads side in a dream or vision. He passed away when I was 6-7 years old so my memories of him are mostly pictures and a few things I can actually recall in my mind. I remember going to his funeral and falling into the duck pond at the grave yard. I remember him standing behind me during a picture with my two older brothers. I remember him working in a very small room attached to the house he and my nanny loved in doing wood work.
My dad passed away in 2009 and I see him quite often as he is one of my guardians from Heaven. He rarely talks to me but is in appearance and I can tell what he is saying but he never moves his mouth. My dad and grandfather were tall, strong men with great courage and work ethic. They were tough men that took great care of their families. Both of them loved southern gospel music and church choir music. My dad and I used to go see many concerts before he passed. He loved the Cathedrals, Florida Boys, Greater Vision, Gold City and other great groups.
In this dream we were sitting in a music hall and my dad who did not play a guitar was playing and singing. He sounded a lot like Johnny Cash with that deeper rigid voice. I never heard my grandfather sing but he sounded a lot like my dad is what I was told. I was sitting and watching them sing together and I also saw others that had gone on before to heaven in attendance. They all sat around clapping, singing and praising God with music that was more beautiful than the groups mentioned above. I sat and relaxed and just watched two of my hero’s sing play and praise God.
I heard a woman say that is James singing and looked up and it was my Aunt Dianne. She is my dads sister and was a very accomplished piano player and singer herself. She was my dads younger sister and only sibling. I looked to the left and my nanny was sitting there on a couch and just watching smiling. Rarely do I see so many people in my dreams that were close to me. I felt my moms presence but did not see her in the room. Dad and grandpa sang these words to me and the others in such a great way.
“Praise God now, praise God forever and ever”. It was an honor to see both playing, singing and have all my kin folk around to witness it. I woke up and felt so blessed and happy. Our loved ones that have moved on are always around us and near us in spirit. Heaven is not so far away and they come to us when we need them the most to lift us up and encourage us to live a full life and show that our reward is eternity with them in Heavenly bliss.
For the non-believers and nay-sayers out there. I challenge you to be open to bigger and better things. I challenge you to see the possibility of Heaven and its reward. I challenge to seek your lost loved ones and look for them to visit you in dreams and visions.
