Now that the left has won the election and took complete control of the House and Senate in America. We will see exactly what they do with all the promises they have made. Will they actually do what was promised or use the next two years to investigate, impeach and do constant sessions asking questions of the current admin and their appointed members. Below are the things that were promised and America voted for.
1- Universal Healthcare- You do realize that the insurance industry is one of the biggest and most powerful industries in the world. Based on the numbers I saw, insurance companies spent 120 Million on the 2026 Mid Terms with a good portion going straight to House and Senate members. Do you think the insurance lobbyist will allow a federally mandated healthcare system that will take billions of dollars from their profits? The likely answer is No and this is the empty promise #1 that will not be fulfilled.
2- Lower Power Bills- This promise goes against one of the other most powerful industries in the world. These companies make Billions a year and many have governmental contracts. So how will the Democrats do this without cutting their own finds off in the 2028 Mid Terms? They won’t because Green Energy is more expensive to produce and less reliable. This is an empty promise #2 that will not happen.
3- Affordable Housing- Here we go again. Real Estate is another of the largest PAC’s in the world. The huge land development companies are not going to allow the prices to be reduced. The federal government does not have the means to build affordable housing as this is mostly a state by state issue. Empty promise #3.
4- Anti-Corruption Laws- Do we really think that the Democrats are going to go after their own people that have been proven to have wasted 100’s of billions of dollars the last 20 years on NGO’s, Non Profits and Privately held shell companies that do not even exist. No they will not do this as it will find that many of their own are involved. Empty promise #4.
5- Reduce the Military and End the War- War makes people rich. Those people donate tons of money to congress and senate campaigns. The left will not go against their own political and financial interest and attack another of the largest industries in the World. Empty promise #5.
Now let’s see what they likely will do. Bring back the Green Energy deal and push cars on people that require a $15,000 change of batteries every five years. A battery for my truck recently installed cost me $300.00. Why would I buy a car that would require me to spend thousands to fix it?
They will spend the next two years trying to chase, investigate and impeach DJT and his cabinet. Billions will be spent on senseless actions that will result in zero gain.
They will bring back boys in girls sports. The liberals do not care about your daughter playing against a bigger stronger boy. They just want to appease the minority group of people that want to think they were born something different.
They will try to reduce ICE, DHI and Homeland security to nothing. They will allow millions of undocumented people back into the country. With that comes a heavy financial burden on all taxpayers, violence, housing issues and the degraded living conditions in the largest blue cities.
They will push deals through congress and give billions to their friends and families. This money will make them rich via kickbacks and shell companies. I am all for better healthcare, cheaper prices and a better daily life. I am for a better way to energize pur country. I am for keeping things safe and a strong military.
I could go on and on, but the biggest fear most should have is the introduction of Islam into our schools, churches, and communities. The faith itself does not agree with LGTBQ, freedom of religion, free speech, unlawful relationships with little girls, police, rule of law and other founding principles of western society. I think the next two years will show us all just how far the left had gone to communism and socialism. It will reveal the devil to all of us and put us in danger as a society. It will promote all the Hollywood stuff on TV, Radio and Socials.
It will be a test that God has given us to stand firm in our faith and stand up for what is right. It will likely backfire on the voters that voted for change or stayed home. I pray I am wrong, but I doubt it and we will see.
