Freedom- By definition is the opportunity to be free from coercion, forced imprisonment and the ability to speak, work and live as you see fit. With that ability and opportunity comes some cost. Freedom is not free and has been earned by hundreds of thousands if not millions of veterans that fought for you and I. Many giving the ultimate cost of their lives. Freedom of speech comes at a cost as we all know in the world we live in now. Anything you say, such as this writing can and will be criticized or rewritten. Freedom of opportunity comes at a cost, as it takes time, energy and hard work to earn that freedom. Freedom from financial issues comes at a cost of time, effort and planning. Their are lots of freedoms and some disagree which makes freedom so great. We live in a country where your moral code and belief system can be completely different from mine. But, we can still get along, move along or just agree that your rights and mine are equal. Freedom is awesome and I remind the younger generation that many have paid the price so you can agree or disagree with me. Freedom is being able to vote in elections, drive cars, eat out, go to work, buy a home, have a family, love who you love, marry who you marry, live where you live, spend what you spend and I could go on forever with examples.
Freedom is what you make of it. It is not Tyranny. It is not coercion. It is not being cancelled. It is not being a victim. It is not political. It is not fighting. It is not arguing. It is not limitations. It is freedom and it matters. It is great and has a cost. It is what we all want, but so many relish anymore as a God given right to pursue your best life. Live, Love, Laugh and Be Free!
