Describe an item you were incredibly attached to as a youth. What became of it?

I loved toys as a kids and played with hotwheels, 12 Inch GI Joes, Star Wars, Big Jim action figures, Tonka trucks, dirt, creeks and anything outside. I was born in the late 1960’s and grew up in the 1970’s as a child. I was teenager in the 1980’s. To this day I still love to collect hot wheels and GI Joes (when I came find them) and afford them. The GI Joes are hard to find and often are not in good shape so I am careful about what I buy and who I buy them from. My GI Joes got mostly torn up or lost by my nephews after I got older so I wish I had some of them back. I remember going to the local small Sears outlet with my mom a few times a year and getting to pick out a new GI Joe. My favorite was the Eagle Eye GI Joe. I had that one but cannot find it and that would be the main one I miss and wish I had from my childhood. I would put it in a case and have it right behind my desk in my home office showing him off. He was the ultimate American Hero action figure of the 1970’s.
