Lost and alone full of sin and despair

Hoping for a miracle thinking no one would care

Then Jesus came down to save me from sin

I have new life because of God’s greatest win

God gave his son to die on that hill

His pain the world to save soon to reveal

In agony he pleaded for his life

All the while knowing, he was the perfect sacrifice

Jesus proclaimed for the world to hear

Father forgive them for they know not what they do

He died on that cross to save us from sin

He proved God’s love again and again
