The Screaming Demon of Kennedy Avenue

The Screaming Demon

When I have visions and dreams about Demons harassing me, I am almost always at my Nanny’s old house. For many years this has been the portal they use to get to me and try and tempt me or fight me. Last night, I was in Nanny’s house in the living room of the small two bedroom house. I was standing there looking around the house and it was in disarray. The curtains were torn from the window and there was trash in the floor. It looked like nobody had lived there for many years. The back bedroom is where the spirits always hide from me.

As I stood there thinking, I need to get out of here. I suddenly heard it, a loud screaming demon. I picked up on it also as my senses were heightened. I looked into the hallway at the bedroom door and the door slammed. I walked towards the door and could smell, feel and hear the creature inside the room. It was walking around and climbing the walls. It kept screaming at me to “go away”. “Get away, go away” repeatedly at me as I opened the door. It charged me and tried to slam the door. I stuck my cross from my neck up and told it to leave in the name of God.

It screamed and began to moan as it backed into the closet. I walked at it confident I could make it leave. I repeated the words, “leave in the name of Jesus, you vile creature”. “Go back to hell where you cam from”. It screamed more and began to wither away before making one last charge at me. I slapped it away from me and one last time told it, “leave and be gone in the name of Jesus who has total authority over you and all creatures of the Earth, Heaven and Hell. It made a horrible noise of pain and melted into the closet door.

I looked back at the door and there stood one of my Guardians. Holding up for me and watching in support. I walked around the room and prayed over it drawing crosses on the walls to mark the room clean of the vile creatures that come out at night. That house has been the center peice of the majority of my fights with demons and other entities. It was always a scary place for me to stay as a kid. The toys were in that back room and I hated having to go in there and play as a child. That closet just creeped me out all the time.

I remember my Grandfather telling us one time that something had sat on him and tried to choke him with a pillow one night. I remember hearing stories of a ghost that was in that back bedroom. I do not get these attacks as much as I used to as I have gotten stronger and stronger in fighting them off. Until next time, I pray for peace and sleep that brings pleasantness instead of the enemy of God and man. Demons will mess with you. They will tempt you. They will try to intimidate you. Stand your ground and speak of the Bible and Believe and they will leave you alone. This is one of many of these fights I have with them.

I will never stand down. I will always fight back. I will always be of the light and never of the darkness.

Ephesians 6:10-18 tells Christians to put on the spiritual armor—which includes truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, prayer, and the Word of God—to stand against the devil’s schemes.

The Bible teaches that Jesus has already broken the power of the enemy through His death and resurrection, and that nothing can separate believers from God’s love (Colossians 2:15; Romans 8:38-39.

James 4: 7 tells us Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Spiritual Warfare requires us to be ready and be with God. We must use his word to protest Demons and the Devil. It makes them really mad, but will send them away everytime. I go straight to the Lords Prayer when they come at me. I also tell them that in the Bible it states that all things are commanded by God, including Demonic Spirits. I tell them to leave me now and be gone back to hell where they came from. Older, stronger ones will fight it, but ultimately if you stand strong you will win. God will win!
