I would hope that people see a genuine person that is passionate about his family, faithful and loves life. I would hope they see the work ethic I have and the will to chase dreams. My dad was a truly great man that served the public for over 30 years. When he went to heaven in 2009 it took five hours and was after 11:00pm before the crowd cleared from his service the night before we buried him. He has touched so many lives in the community, state and nation that people came from multiple states to acknowledge him. It was awesome to see the impact he made. So with all that said, as a public school teacher and coach for over 20+ years and coach for 30+ years I hope to have the same impact on people. When I die, I hope the line is huge and the smiles and stories are aplenty as they say; “Coach B was a good man that made a difference in my life”. If I come up short of that goal then that is ok. But if I can impact a third of the people my dad did and be as much of a man as he was then it will all be good. God will look at me and say “well done and welcome to Heaven”.
