Have you ever had surgery? What for?

As a life long athlete and career coach I have had my fair share of injuries that required surgery. I could make a big long list of things that have had to be fixed by surgeon. Below is just a quick list of the most major surgeries I have had.

  1. Shoulder- I have had two shoulder surgeries on my left shoulder. I have had one on my right shoulder.
  2. Wrist- One wrist surgery to correct broken bones and torn ligaments.
  3. Knee- Left and Right knee surgery for torn ligaments and other issues.
  4. Heart- I have had heart surgery
  5. Ankle- I tore my ankle up really bad one time and had to have it totally repaired.

I have had other surgeries and procedures throughout my life. Most of them caused as an athlete playing sports or being a boy playing outside or in the woods. We all have scars and we learn from those scars and carry them with us the balance of our lives.
