My mission in life is to be the very best husband, father, brother, son, teacher, coach, mentor and person I can be. It is a simple concept that people need to follow in ife. If you work hard, put time, energy and patience into any aspect of life things will work out and you can accomplish your mission. My dad was a great man and my hero. When he passed away in 2009, it took four and half hours to clear the line that showed up for his service at the funeral home. People came from all over the state and even a few from out of state.
He had known and touched that so many people as a police officer, community volunteer, athletics coach and family man. He spent his adult life taking care of others and helping them. My goal has been the same, to simply be a better man than I was yesterday in all aspects of life. When I leave this earthly body, I hope to have been half the man my dad was and maybe a few folks will lineup to bid me a farewell to my heavenly home where I can see my mom and dad again. I told my wife to play Simple Man by Lynard Skynard when I die and let the people rock out to a song about a guy that loved life, loved his family and his momma!
Coach B’s Four Life Principles- Hard Work, Time, Energy and Patience will beat any talent, skill, luck, fortune or accidental gains. Put into whatever it is and do it with passion and things will be OK!
What is you life’s mission? Are you the person you always wanted to be? What do you need to do to become that person? I pray this finds you all well and that your mission is favorable and just know that it is never to late to get onboard that rocket ship and correct your mission pathway!
