I will have to say my cell phone. That thing is good for many reasons but also can be a capturing thing that holds you hostage at times. I am a school teacher and cell phones are the biggest issue I see in the classroom. They ring all day, go off, beep, vibrate and just generally are not needed. They disrupt our lives, conversations and activities at times as well. I appreciate my cell phone, but I could honestly live without it as I did growing up in the late 60’s, 70′ and being a teenager in the 80’s. They have a purpose but spending more time with my family and actually talking to people face to face is more important to me than social media, videos and spam calls.
What technology would you be better off without, why?

To be honest, I agree. There are moments when I use my phone to doom scroll and waste my time.
It’s undeniable that our phones are so useful, but it’s become a blessing and a curse these days.
