Top five survival foods

Daily writing prompt
List your top 5 grocery store items.

With things going the way they are in the world. Wars, bad economy, crime on the rise, and the politicians literally tearing countries apart with woke ideology. Countries are on the brink of failing and when it happens and civil war comes to America these are the things I will have already stock piled. Getting prepped for this is a good way to make sure that your family is taken care of and you should have a minimum of two years of food and water ready at all times. This is about food but being ready for riots, war, job loss, tornados and other things that happen is smart. Many say stop prepping but when it happens they will starve to death.

My top five stable foods I will have on site at all times are rice, macaroni noodles, canned foods (processed is bad for you) but these are stable for several years if needed and could save your life. Bottled water kept at room temperature will not go bad for a long time and is needed to live. The last is peanuts, walnuts, etc. Any kind of nut has a long shelf life and lots of energy and protein to fuel the body. Then you need the things that can be grown at home with land. Seeds to be planted, corn, veggies, potatoes, tomatoes, etc can be grown at home in the yard.

You also need matches, fuel oil, gasoline, stock piles of cut wood, nails, tools, tarps, rope, plastic pipe, Duc tape and other things you can buy at the dollar store. These things can be used to build shelter, cook, and set traps to catch animals. The last thing that you must have is a weapon and plenty of rounds to protect your family. When it all comes down your family has to be priority over all others. People will become savage and you must be prepared to hold your ground and protect at all cost. Hopefully, you never need it. But it you have it you have a great chance to survive and make it through natural disasters, storms, wars and other things that happen.
