In 2020 just prior to the covid lockdowns my family business won a trip to Singapore. We went over there for five days and It was my favorite trip so far that we have taken out of America. The country is really nice, clean and well kept. I did not see homeless people, drug dealers, slums or bad neighborhoods. Now, that stuff may go on but inside of Singapore City it is not allowed. All of the buildings were really tall, well lit with colored lights and decorated with greenery. It seemed to be a model city for others to follow. The people were fantastic and very kind and giving of themselves. Respect abounded at the motel we stayed and the service and food was outstanding. I would suggest you take a trip to Singapore one day but beware. They do not put up with American ideals as far as the way police, fire and EMS workers are treated. They will arrest you quickly for showing your tail and being so free to speak your mind. You cannot chew gum either as it is illegal.
