most famous person i met

I have met several popular artist, musicians and other stars in my life at random times either in person or online as a live streamer on BIGO (Thecoachb). Below is a short list of the most famous people and what they do that I have met in my life.

1- Michael Jordan- I was a teenager working the Greensboro Coliseum for the ACC basketball tourney with a catering company and he and the Tarheel teammates came into eat and he shook my hand and signed an autograph I still have.

2- Richard Petty- I live in NC not far from the Kings residence and have met him a few times. I grew up a nascar fan and he is the King of Nascar.

3- Joan Jett- I was a bouncer in college at a bar and she came through App State playing and I bounced for her during the event. She was really nice and cool to meet.

4- Henry Lee Summer- He was a singer/songwriter in the 80’s who had a big hit called “I Wish I Had A Girl” or something like that. He was touring college campuses and played at the same club. After the event he came back to my and my roommates apartment for a party.

5- 38 Special- Those dudes were real cool and we got to meet them as they setup and rehearsed at the college arena.

6- Ric Flair- Wooooo! Met him once in person at a signature event and seen him wrestle many times over the years as a big time fan.

7- Sloan Bone (AKA Big Sloan)- Sloan is part of the rap scene in LA and is part of the family of BTH (Bones, Thugs n’ Harmony). Sloan and I have met several times and we had dinner together and he spent the night at my house once after a party. He is a great man and cool dude. Very talented and hard working. We live stream together sometimes.

8- Brad Hoover/Madison Hedgecock- These guys attended the local high school I went to and coached at. They are both retired NFL football players and are from great families.

9- James Worthy (Tarheels/NBA Legend)- I met him the same day I met MJ serving him food. So tall and great guy.

10- Horace Grant- NBA player met at the same event.

11- Lou Holtz- I met coach Holtz at a Georgia Tech football coaches conference. He is a legend and was great to hear speak on motivation, coaching and life.

12- Ricky Steamboat- He is a HOF wrestler and was one of my favorites growing up.

13- Animal and Hawk- HOF wrestling tag team (the best ever). I met them at an event when I was a teenager and I idolized those two as a weight lifter and high school athlete.

14- Jade Cargil- WWE Diva and Champion. I hope I spelled it right. She is the most recent I met at an airport in Atlanta heading home from a vacation. She was sitting two seats down and was very nice to everyone including myself. At the time she was still in AEW I think.

These are just the ones that come to mind but there were others that just slip my mind. These encounters were all brief and they wouldn’t know who I was except for Big Sloan. But it impacted me and gave me a great memory to hold onto for life and now wrote about.
